Gender Inequality and Poverty in Armenia: A Multidimensional Approach

چکیده

A gender perspective highlights that poverty affects women and girls disproportionally due to biases, unequal division of power in society social expectations from the roles men women. Starting 1980s, feminist researchers had begun raise issue feminization poverty, stressed importance intersectionality between not only gender, but also ethnicity, age, marital status, etc.
 Multidimensional analyses can become most appropriate methodological approach understand interconnections poverty. In order reveal whole spectrum impacts on different groups, a multidimensional analysis focuses 1) opportunities choices; 2) resources; 3) voice; 4) human security. article, among Armenia is presented recommendations mitigate various women's groups are presented.
